Drexel has over 300 clubs and organizations and 25 Greek fraternities/sororities to choose from! It is SO easy to get involved!

Drexel offers a co-op program: "Drexel Co-op is based on paid employment in practical, major-related positions consistent with the interests and abilities of participating students. The benefits are obvious—during their time at Drexel, students can experience up to three different co-ops. Because of this, Drexel students graduate having already built a professional network, and they typically receive higher starting salaries than their counterparts from other schools."
Please note: Engaging in the 3 co-ops would require taking an additional year to complete your undergraduate degree.

How to Register for the SAT

By Sarah Lechleitner, Melody McLaughlin, and Colby Sites

First of all, what is the SAT?
The SAT is a globally-recognized college admissions test that is designed to show colleges what you know and how well you can apply your knowledge. The test is typically taken by students who are in their junior or senior year of high school. It is designed to test your knowledge of math, reading, and writing. Almost all colleges and universities use SAT scores as a part of the college admission process.

Upcoming SAT dates: March 8th, May 3rd, and June 7th

Here's how to Register:

2. If you haven’t done so already, make an account.
a. Save your Username and Password in a safe place--you will need this account many times in your application process!
3. Click the blue “Register Now” button under the SAT section.
4. Verify your password.
5. Click the “Register Now” blue bar.
6. Begin registering by filling out requested information.
a. Make sure the name you use when registering matches the ID you are bringing to the  test.(Beware of nicknames, etc.)
b. Note: If you do not know your parents’ income, select “Prefer not to answer.”
c. Note: School code: 392-565
d. When you take your photo, make sure it matches the instructions on the page. Some     students have not been allowed to take the exam due to poor photos.
7. Print out your admissions ticket and keep it in a safe place. You MUST bring the ticket with you on the day of the test.
8. See Miss Loh to pick up free SAT study packets or borrow an official SAT practice book.
9. Cost of exam: $51.50 for regular deadline. Late period: $78.50

You should take the SAT during your junior year. This is recommended so that during your senior year you can be more focused on the application process. It is important to take the SAT because colleges use that score in the application process and the exam gives you an idea of your strengths and weaknesses as a student. Many students do not study for this exam and they do poorly. Make sure you study!

If you have questions or need help registering for the SAT, come talk to Miss Loh in the counseling office.

Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch can also take this exam twice for free. See Miss Loh for the fee waiver.
